Jefferson Consulting Group announces the recent award by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) of a five-year, $22.2 million Institutional Support Services contract to provide technical, programmatic, and administrative services to the Agency’s Bureau for Legislative and Public Affairs (USAID/LPA). USAID/LPA is the Agency’s primary liaison between USAID and the American people, and at the same time facilitates USAID communication and outreach activities across more than 100 countries worldwide.
Jefferson, with our partners XL Associates (XLA) and Federal Business Council (FBC), will support USAID/LPA in producing outreach products for USAID digital platforms, creating content for Agency social media communications, crafting speeches for USAID senior leadership outreach to internal and external audiences, and organizing events that engage both the Agency workforce and key actors on issues critical to USAID international development initiatives.
“The ability of USAID to engage audiences at home, and throughout the world, builds trust in the assistance that our government’s premier international development agency delivers worldwide,” said Jefferson CEO Janet Clement. “USAID programming saves lives, supports emerging democracies, and lifts up vulnerable communities in times of crisis. Jefferson is elated for the opportunity to contribute to this mission by expanding USAID’s ability to put information about the Agency in the hands of those who benefit from, and those who implement, critical development activities across the globe.”
