As a Senior Level Acquisition Specialist, Angela Dorsey provides prominent life cycle acquisition support and procurement guidance to Jefferson Consulting Groups federal government clients. Ms. Dorsey assists in acquisition planning, developing RFP/RFAs, drafting the source selection decisions, assisting the Contracting Officer in contract negotiations, performs cost/price analysis and aids the government in proposal evaluation and contract award documentation. Currently, Ms. Dorsey directly supports the Agency for International Development (USAID) procurement support contract, ensuring the implementation of USAID’s health programs domestically and overseas.

Prior to joining Jefferson, Ms. Dorsey was a Technical Specialist (SME) for Acquisition Solutions for seven years where she was responsible for providing pre and post award contract support, developing cost and pricing analysis training documentation and mentoring and training young professionals in Acquisition (specially cost and pricing analysis). Angela has seven years of federal government experience as a Cost and Pricing Analyst for the Department of Treasury Internal Revenue Services and a Senior Auditor for the Department of Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA).

Angela holds a Master of Science Administration (MSA) from Central Michigan University in Information Resource Management, a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Lincoln University and is DAWIA Level II certified. Moreover, Angela was nominated in 2009 and 2010 for the Fed100 Award for her support in the federal government mitigation from GSA FTS 2001 to GSA Networx telecommunications contract. Currently, Angela is completing her studies in Church Leadership at the Washington Baptist Seminary Deaconess Class.

Ms. Dorsey holds membership in the Society of Cost Estimators (SCEA), Sigma Beta Delta Honor Society and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
